Curved Stave

Each stave is milled to the tubs diameter on the inside and outside. Our own unique angled Ball & Socket Joint is also angled to the tubs diameter.  In other words, our angled ball & socket joint and curved stave are both milled to the radius of the tubs diameter.

Our Ball & Socket joints provide more sealing surface than a butt or tongue and grooved stave joint. The angled ball and socket joint along with the Curved Stave produces 100% band contact with the staves, which eliminates the pressure points on the edge of the staves (present on flat staves supplied by the competition) and provides a stronger and tighter sealing area. The end result produce a perfectly round hot tub, with no flat surfaces inside or out with no gaps between the staves inside the tub.
